About Thyra by owner Maggan:

Thyra is a delightful, positiv dog in every way. Kind and nice to everyone and goes well together with all other dogs, known and unknown both male and female. She has always been very calm indoors and you don´t even know she is there.
I started her fieldtraining very early and she has from the beginning been a very keen and spontaneaus worker with all sorts of cold game. Biddable, easy-to-handle and very eager. She likes to co-operate. Her will to find game takes over anything that might happen. When she got her 1st prize in Beginners from judge Willy Gustafsson we had a great critique where he praised her free work and the summary said: A dog who carries through the whole test in an excellent way, showing excellent retrieverqualities.
This spring she got her Tracking Champion-title in a very short time. We have also done some obediencetraining and it works very well. Thyra has everything I want in a dog. I am extremely happy to be able to own, train and handle this wonderful dog.

Despite his age Tarn has already had tremendous success in the field and he also represents new blood to our Swedish lines.
Thyras strenght is her markingability both on land and water and her drive and eager to find game.
I think this combination will produce healthy, good workingdogs where fieldability comes first.

Info about the combination:
 Nixon is the bitch I kept in the kennel from Yessie/Hendrix in the Yes-& No-litter. 1,5 yrs old she moved to Fredrik and his family in Norrköping when Fredrik´s beloved Yxi went over the rainbowbridge. The summary from Nixon´s offspringdescription: Fast and very good worker!
Nixon is a smaller bitch with a very nice outline. She has only been to 2 shows. Once as a youngster with placing and special honory award, and once as a grown up for the breedspecialist Marie Carlsson with Excellent and CK with 2nd place in a class of 13.  She has already 2 wonderful litters and from the Fenix-litter there are not less than 3 with CC, BIS/BOB and BOS and others with CC-qualityawards and classwinners. They also show excellent qualities and several are already officially merited in the field and more to come. Her second litter - the Nixon-litter are also wonderful caracters who shows very nice qualities already. They too look good and little Diva got CC-qualityaward at her debut show in juniorclass. Tilly also has CC-quality from youngsterclass and Axa Excellent from youngsterclass. Axa was very young when she did her debut at cold game test. She was awarded a prize. This year we expect more debutants in the field. Hips, elbows, eyes etc looks very good from both of Nix´ litters

Touho tog sig snabbt upp i klasserna på jaktproven. Som 1 åring tog han både sitt NOU1 och Nybörjar 1:a. Som 2 åring tog han snabbt sina 2x 1 Ökl och som 3 åring satt 3x 1 Ekl  i rad som en smäck under hösten efter några 2:or på våren och sommaren. Det praktiska provet genomfördes i november och en ny fin titel var på plats. Under tidig höst blev han också Finsk Flatmästare och vid summeringen av året blev han även utsedd till Årets Jaktflat i Finland. Han har en syster som också redan har 1 Ekl, ytterligare en syster med  2x 1 Ökl och en bror som tagit 2x 1 Nkl och 1 Ökl. Fler syskon är jaktmeriterade bl.a en syster med 1 Nkl+3 Ökl och 1 Ökl på officiellt WT samt ytterligare 2 syskon med NOU1. Fina egenskaper i denna kull! Sparsamt utställda men en bror har R-Cert och Touho själv är bara utställd en gång än så länge med VG men kommer ställas ut några gånger under våren där man hoppas på ännu bättre resultat.
Touhos stamtavla har på ena sidan linjer som jag en gång planerade att para Yessie med men hon tyvärr gick tom och på andra sidan finns linjerna som är så välkända för sin jaktliga styrka och som återfanns i min första kulls stamtavla. Min första kulls jaktliga förmåga var fantastisk och jag kan bara hoppas på att komma i närheten av deras arbetskapacitet så visst har jag varit o tafsat på dom här linjerna förut :-)

Jag tycker om många finska hundar pga deras styrka i arbete. Det krävs verkligen en arbetshund för att lyckas i Finland - det går inte att lyckas med en bra dresserad hund utan sisu och styrka och dom bästa finska hundarna besitter både styrkan och finliret idag. Jag har själv startat på flertalet prov i Finland och vet att avstånden är långa och terrängen hård så jag är jätteglad att få använda denna guldklimp till arbetsmaskin till Nixon, som tidigare också lämnat så fina kullar efter sig.
Sen tidigare kan jag se att Nixon nedärver till stor del den hane hon paras med. Detta blir hanen Touhos första kull och han har som sagt en gedigen arbetsstamtavla där flertalet av hundarna även har exteriören med sig.
